This is farm life.

I took a few days off and went back to the family farm. I found lost treasures in the barn and took walks in the forest with Mom. The colors and light this time of year is amazing. The sun never zenith during this time of the year, so the sun is low and warm all day.

It's the last autumn on the farm, by this time next year another child will be living in my childhood room. Something I never thought would happen.

Life is both beautiful and sad indeed.

Have I found you, Flightless Bird

A week in october.

1. On Saturday mornings we walk to the bakery down the street, and buy freshly made, lovely bread.

2. Just a little part of all our books, they spread away from the shelf and end up in piles all over the place...

3. 19 o clock-ish on a Thursday evening. The tram looks empty and eerie this time of year. Two months ago it would have been packed with people going to the sea.

The rain against the window, the wind against my face. Autumn is here and it's hard to find the energy for work, love and all the in betweens.

Autumn days in Gothenburg

Im spending a lot of time outside this week. While i can. I took a walk and then two, met up with friends, getting some coffee and try to make Felix smile [no use]. And when it gets dark i go home and light candles and think about how i want to live my life, about the difference between material happiness and the one within.

Jag är mycket utomhus den här veckan. Medans jag kan. Jag tog en promenad och sen två, träffade vänner, drack kaffe och försökte få Felix att le [hopplöst]. När det blir mörkt går jag hem och tänder ljus och tänker på hur jag vill leva mitt liv, på skillnaden mellan den materiella och den inre lyckan.

Life in autumn colors

Spent a few days at the family farm with Mom & Dad. Autumn colors, moose meat, sanding and painting floors and drinking lots and lots of strong coffee :)

Spenderade några dagar hemma på gården med Mammi & Pappi. Höstfärger, älgkött, slipade och målade golv och drack massor av starkt kaffe :)
